Had a vast cheese pie at the taverna, then returned to the beach. A few people came and went, but there were never more than four others on the beach. The wind dropped in the afternoon and it was very hot. Pushing the bike up from Steni Vala to the main road was tough. Got back about 6:30. Got some euros from the cash machine. The bank is always shut.
Tue 1st June: Cycled to Vithisma. Was up late so arrived about 10:30. I was first on the beach, but there was no sign of the seal. There was no wind and the sea was flat calm. It got very hot. Stayed until about 2:30 then went to Milia beach. Surprisingly, there was no open taverna and the place had a run-down feel to it. There was one other person on the beach.
