Kokinokastro beach	Lizard on the beach
Cloud had been building up and it started to rain just as I got back to the scooter. Drove to Gerakas where there were a few fishing boats, but no sign of activity at the 'Research Station'. Returned to civilisation and had a drink at Steni Vala. Then went to the Hora (old town), just killing time while I had the scooter, and took a few photos. Had a look at the paintings in 'Gallery 5'. Drove back to Patitiri and returned the scooter. Lamb Kleftiko for dinner - a stew with vegetables and cheese. Thu 3rd: Walked to Vithisma. The seal was at the eastern end, amongst the rocks. 	Got some photos, but with neither head nor tail very distinct. Snorkelled and sunbathed all morning, then returned to Patitiri to do the museums. The town museum is in a new building and much bigger than I expected. There was a room of World War II artefacts and a room of relics of island life - agricultural implements, blacksmiths, cobblers, hairdressers, wine presses etc. The seal centre has changed its opening hours, so was closed as usual. Walked over to Votsi and down to Spartines beach. Stayed till about 5pm.
