Tue 25th: Went to the crocodile farm in the morning and photographed weaver birds there. Had lunch by the swimming pool of the Victoria Falls Hotel, then spent the afternoon walking by the falls and along the banks of the Zambezi. Helped cook dinner of mince, potatoes and cauliflower.
Wed 26th: Walked across the Zambezi bridge into Zambia and met the Sobek leaders at the Intercontinental Hotel, Livingstone. Walked down to the river and boarded and 18 foot inflatable dinghy, to go down nine of the ten series of rapids below Victoria Falls. I was at the front of the boat and was flattened by three girls as we went down each rapid! After seven rapids we had lunch by the river. The ninth rapid was un-navigable, so we had to carry the boats around. At the end there was a very steep climb up the side of the gorge and
