They appeared to form a continuous line of snow capped peaks. Even at 1900m it was warm and sunny and I was in tee shirt and jeans all day. Walked back past the Megève airfield, then along a tarmac road into an area of chalet sprawl, before finally getting back to the apartment for tea.
Mon 21st: Had difficulty finding my way out of Megève this morning. After a long walk I reached les Pettoreaux on the edge of town and then got lost in a housing estate. A very nice elderly French couple gave me directions - Madame could talk the hind legs off a chamois, but I couldn't understand a word.
