Wed 25th: Had a morning game drive and saw eland and zebras drinking at one waterhole, then went on to another where there were kudu and giraffe. Returned to camp and the Namutomi waterhole, seeing a family of warthogs, some grey cranes, gemsbok with three young calves, kudu and zebras lined up drinking. Three warthogs wandered through the camp and a jackal ate the tablecloth during the night. Had pancakes for lunch. Went on an evening game drive and saw absolutely nothing except a few guinea fowl.
Thu 26th: Drove to Tsumeb and walked through the town to a park full of jacaranda trees. Went to a beer garden for coffee and apple pie. Continued towards Waterberg through monotonous scrub. Stopped for lunch under a huge fig tree.
